Government has selected six out of 16 prospective investors who have shown interest to develop the Boankra Inland Port at Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.
The documents of the investors are being scrutinized so that the best company which meets the criteria will be selected to undertake the project which has stalled for some years now.
The Chief Executive of the Ghana Shippers Authority, Dr Kofi Mbiah disclosed this at the end of a year get-together organized by the Ashanti Regional Shippers Committee, in Kumasi.
