The CEO of the National Petroleum Authority, NPA, Alex Mould, has denied claims that there is shortage of petroleum products in the country. He says there is also not going to be any review of petrol prices next month.

In an interview with Radio Ghana Mr. Mould said a team from the NPA will go round on an inspection tour and anyone caught hoarding will be sanctioned.

Mr. Mould however agreed that a review of petroleum prices is long overdue and that government needs to take that decision to save one billion Ghana cedis per month for other important development projects that will benefit all Ghanaians especially the less privileged.
