A Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Seth Tekper, says even though the country is nearing an election period, Government has been able to stabilize the economy.
Mr Tekper said he is hopeful that with some economic indicators the country can still maintain its middle income status.
Mr Terkper said though some successes have been chalked there were some challenges along the way.
